If you've purchased dish towels or hand towels from my shop, you probably already know I use sublimation to print on microfiber towels and the image is soft and as durable as the fabric itself.  Is the fabric durable? Is there anything you can do to help your towels last as long as possible?  The answer is Yes!  Proper care will help your towels (and all microfiber) live their best life.

Wash Separately in Cold water

For best results, wash microfiber separately from natural fibers Use cold water and a gentle detergent.  Microfiber has a positive electronic charge and keeping it separate from natural fibers, helps to maintain that charge.

No Fabric Softener or Bleach

Fabric Softener and static sheets will harm your microfiber.  They will clog the fibers, making them lose their absorbency and lose their electromagnetic charge.

Air Dry or Tumble Dry on Low

It's important to dry microfiber separately from other laundry because the lint from other fabrics will be drawn to the charge of the microfiber.

So don't be afraid to use your towels.  I know some of you insist they're just for decoration, but I encourage you to go ahead and dry those dishes.
